New Netflix Doc ‘Lover, Stalker, Killer’ - Thoughts

Netflix has released another True Crime documentary ( LOVE that they are doing this) and this time, it details the weird as f*** story that we covered in Episode 40, a Twisted Triangle. And it just reminds us how ridiculously CRAZY this case was. It actually blew our minds when we researched it, and it was almost exactly the same when we were watching it again in this doc. We are self proclaimed true crime documentary connoisseurs on Mwmm, so we love a good take on a case we are familiar with, and Netflix has been killing it lately (no pun intended). If you guys remember (if you don’t go back and listen), Newly divorced mechanic, Dave, dives into the online dating world. Now, you know how we feel about dating in general on Mwmm, so online makes it that much more sketchy, but what do you do in the times we live in? anyway, he meets a girl named Liz that seems to get that he doesn’t want anything serious, and she seems to be fine with it. That is until he meets another woman, Cari, by happenstance when he’s at work one day. He later finds her on a dating site, and the two are pretty drawn to each other. From the get-go, They come to a mutual agreement to keep things super casual, until one day it seems she goes completely off the rails, which turns into stalking Dave and also his other casual Gf Liz. We don’t want to give anything away if you haven’t listened to our episode, but we highly suggest either listening to our take, Netflix’s take, or really anyones to hear this wild story.
